Water Rocket addicts risk life and limb with dangerous chemicals
Water Rocket addicts risk life and limb with dangerous chemicals, to get "high"

WASHINGTON, DC (PA) -- The office of the United States Surgeon General issued a warning today that further studies need to be made to determine the health risks associated with Water Rocket Addiciton.

The office of the Surgeon General today released a report that finds that Water Rocket addiction is becoming a serious problem not only for the United States, but is on the rise in all countries.

Water Rockets are traditionally thought of as harmless toys for children, but in recent years they have become a growing addiction, bordering uopn obsession for many adults. The seemingly harmless toy rockets, which use compressed air to squirt out water and fly into the sky, have sprouted friendly competitions, which have turned into serious challenges from teams who spread the addiction to family and friends. These groups of water rocket addicts collect new addicts like gathering lint, which is snowballing into a serious health risk, as the addicts build up an immunity and resort to desperate acts to get a greater "high".

The report indicates that Water Rocketry, while mostly harmless by itself, is now considered a "gateway" or "enabler" to more serious and dangerous chemicals. many Water Rocket addicts have begun experimenting with mixing Water Rockets with other chemicals to get "high", like explosive or reactive chemicals and even cryogenic gasses. Even though these methods go way beyond what most people consider "Water Rockets", the addicts have deluded themselves into thinking they are not breaking the law because they are only experimenting with harmless water rockets.

The surgeon general recommends that studies of this problem are made before it becomes a problem of epidemic proportions.
